Black Star Sapphire Ring - Klarheit

For all of the time I have been making Jewelry, I haven't ever really made my own piece. Something that I made JUST for me. The last time I did, the ring broke protecting me and some of my friends (it's a long story).

So, I've had this black star sapphire for a good long while, and have wanted to make something to house it. I just didn't know what.

So, last night at around 1 am I got inspired. I just started working kind of fervently to get this ring right. There were a lot of issues with it: the size was wrong, I had never made a bezel this small, and a bunch of other problems. But finally, around 3 in the morning. It was complete. I had made a wonderful, simple band to house my star sapphire. Which, I hope will help me bring some clarity back into my life when I am sorely in need of it.

This is a simple band, 1/4" across made out of Sterling silver, with a hand made bezel also out of sterling silver.

The stone is a 6mm x 4mm black star sapphire that casts an absolutely gorgeous white star when the light hits it, and otherwise seems to just glow from within.

This was all hand made for myself, and this item is NOT for sale.
